The Children at Play Network exists as a network of relationships. Regional change – and the resulting improved outdoor play and learning environments – can only happen through cooperation. We seek to develop partnerships to grow the network through outreach to individuals, schools, organizations and champions for children’s equitable access to play in the outdoors.
One such partnership has grown over the past few years with the Sacred Heart Preschool. What began with training for teachers led to consulting support for a new natural playspace that is taking shape on the preschool campus.
In this video, Austin Nikolich, Curriculum Director at SHP, talks about the nature of the partnership and what the relationship has meant to the preschool, the teachers and the children.
The Children at Play Network welcomes new partners to create strong and evolving relationships so that we can work together for a better future for our children.
