Free Play Day at Castlewood Park in Lexington on 4-21-18
The Children at Play Network is excited about this upcoming free play day at Castlewood Park in Lexington on Saturday, April 21 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Not only will this be a great opportunity for children to gather to explore free play but it’s also an opportunity to learn more about a nature play environment that is being planned in partnership with the North Limestone Community Development Corporation, Lexington Parks and Recreation Department, and the Children at Play Network.
The design firm of Gresham, Smith and Partners has completed a first draft of a conceptual plan for the new play environment and now the partners are engaged in the process of making adjustments that will result in a final plan. We would be delighted to chat with you about those plans while your children explore free play in the park.
