Support a New Nature Playscape in Lexington

The Children at Play Network is excited to support an effort to create a new nature playscape at the Child Development Center of the Bluegrass. Claude Stephens, Director of the CAPN, will lead a one-hour workshop on “The Value of Play in Healthy Communities” on Tuesday, April 30th from 6:30-7:30. Here’s information about that event.  Free but registration required. (See below)

Help Grow the Network of Play Advocates in Lexington

Increasingly, communities around the globe embrace play as a component of healthy human development. This workshop will explore the complexities of play, various ways we can support playful communities and how play is linked to human health.

Who: Parents, educators, and advocates interested in the importance of play in healthy child development and how play spaces can support healthier communities.

What: 1-hour workshop led by Claude Stephens, Director of Bernheim Arboretum’s Children at Play Network – light snacks and refreshments provided

When: Tuesday, April 30th from 6:30-7:30 pm

Where: Gorham Hall in the E.S. Good Barn
