BloomFest at Bernheim was a lovely day filled with play between the pines. Children climbed, built, created, collaborated and made new friends while parents observed the benefits of free play. Children were immersed in nature, some for hours, connecting to the outdoors in ways that support their healthy development. 
The Children at Play Network is committed to extending free play in nature to children throughout our region. This requires a network of supporters – parents, educators, community advocates – who want to ensure healthier children and a healthier planet.
