The last of the Fall Free Play Days, hosted by Children at Play Network partner Olmsted Parks Conservancy is this weekend from 4:30-7:30 p.m. , Sunday, Oct. 27th in conjunction with the organization’s Hayride on the Hill at Cherokee Park.
Boxes, tape, rope, tarps and clips — and a whole lot more — will be on hand to inspire children’s creativity, problem solving and sense of play. Children at Play Network’s Play Facilitators will be on hand to support the play. These events allow children to stretch their imaginations, create self-directed activities and games, take risks with an assortment of loose parts. Free Play is freely chosen and directed by the child providing freedom and space for exploration that children need for their healthy development.
