CAPN partner Olmsted Parks Conservancy will host two free play days this summer for children and families at two of Louisville’s historic parks. Boxes, tape, rope, tarps and clips — and a whole lot more — will be on hand to inspire children’s creativity, problem solving and sense of play. Facilitators will be on hand to support the play.
4-8 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at Shelby Park, 600 E. Oak St., Louisville, Ky 40203
4-8 p.m., Saturday, July 20th at Bingham Park, 160 Coral Ave, Louisville, KY 40206
The free play events are part of Olmstead Parks’ Neighborhood Bike-Ins. For more information contact Matt Spalding at matt.spalding@olmstedparks.org
Free Play is freely chosen and directed by the child providing freedom and space for exploration that children need for their healthy development.
