The Norton Foundation funded this conceptual planning effort. Maupin Elementary, located in the Parkland Neighborhood of Louisville, worked with the CAPN team to envision a nature-rich play environment to replace a mostly bare urban green space. The conceptual planning process included input from the 2015-2016 team of teachers; and design assistance from Booker Design Collaborative and Lauren Meena, among others.
